The valve assembly process at MADE Italy was intricate. Operators needed extended training before they could work independently, and those long training periods slowed down the introduction of new products and processes.
The complexity of the tasks also led to frequent manual errors. At the same time, the site needed an efficient 5S work environment to improve overall productivity.

The solution
Arkite guidance on Bosch Rexroth workstations
Arkite, working with Bosch Rexroth Italy, deployed its operator guidance platform at two workstations. Each station is equipped with a 3D sensor, projector, industrial PC and touch screen. Digital work instructions are projected onto the work table and guide the operator through every picking and assembly action.
Arkite integrates with Bosch Rexroth smart tooling, so tightening operations are part of the guided workflow. A virtual confirmation button adds a validation point to each assembly step.
