Configuration control and evidence for every unit.
Low volumes, long cycles and strict quality requirements leave no margin for undocumented manual work. Arkite guides each step against the released configuration and records how every unit was built.

What we hear from aerospace and defense manufacturers.
-
Operators search through procedures, drawings and revisions to find the right step.
Information overload
-
In a long assembly, a missed step is hidden once the next layer is fitted.
Long cycle times
-
A configuration built twice a year is easy to confuse with a similar one.
Variant confusion
-
Our customer expects proof of who did each step, with which tool and which result.
Evidence per unit
What Arkite does for aerospace and defense manufacturers.
-
Arkite Platform 01The challengeOperators work from large sets of procedures, drawings and revisions, and outdated instructions cause errors.
How Arkite solves itOnly the released configuration reaches the floor
Jobs move through Draft, Review and Production, and only users with the Approver role release to Production. A full version history is kept, the variant is set by scan or from the MES or ERP, and job documentation exports to PDF per variant and language.
- Approval workflow before release
- Full version history
- The right configuration loaded per unit
-
Arkite VALIDATE 02The challengeLong sequences make it hard to keep focus, and a missed step disappears under the next layer.
How Arkite solves itEvery step confirmed, however long the sequence
The 3D sensor validates each pick and assembly action and its order. The workflow continues only after a correct action, so steps cannot be skipped unnoticed.
- No skipped steps
- The same sequence for every unit
- Rarely built configurations followed exactly
-
Arkite VALIDATE 03The challengeFastening must be done with the right tool and torque, and proven afterwards.
How Arkite solves itFastening under control
Smart tools are enabled only at the correct step and location, the program is selected automatically, and the torque is confirmed before the next step and stored per unit.
- Right tool at the right position
- Torque confirmed per step
- Values stored per serial number
-
Arkite DATA 04The challengeRecords must show who did each step, when, with which tool and result, and data must stay on site.
How Arkite solves itEvidence per serial number, on your own server
Per serial number Arkite stores every step, validation result, operator, time and torque value, with optional product snapshots. Changes are audit-logged, append-only and protected by a hash chain. All data stays on your own server, and VISION AI detections run locally.
- Complete per-unit record
- Tamper-evident audit log
- No internet connection required
The topics that matter, and what Arkite does for each.
Arkite does not certify processes or products. It provides the controls and records your quality system relies on.
- AS9100
Controlled instructions, an approval workflow, an audit log and per-unit records provide evidence for your quality management system.
- Configuration control
Only users with the Approver role release a job to Production, and a full version history is kept.
- Serial number traceability
Every step, validation result, operator, time and torque value stored per serial number, with optional product snapshots.
- Torque records
Smart tool program selected per step, torque confirmed before moving on and logged per unit.
- On-premises data
All project and production data on your own server or private cloud. VISION AI runs locally; AI job generation is optional and disabled by default.
- Low volume, high complexity
Rarely built configurations follow the same released, validated method as common ones.

Where aerospace and defense manufacturers use Arkite
Questions from aerospace and defense teams
Does Arkite make our process compliant?
Arkite is a software platform used within your quality management system. Controlled job versions, approval workflows, audit logging and per-unit traceability support configuration control and evidence requirements. How the platform is qualified within your system is defined by your quality organization.
Can Arkite run without a cloud connection?
Yes. The Arkite server runs on premises or in your private cloud, and all project and production data stays there. Optional AI job generation and translation require an internet connection and are disabled by default. VISION AI detections run locally.
How does Arkite handle long assemblies?
Long sequences are structured in numbered steps and sub-assemblies, and variant-specific steps appear only when they apply. Each step is validated before the next starts, so the operator always knows where they are in the process.
